PRESIDENT'S REPORT

Well, here we are ready to start another year!! To you and your families I would hope it is a year of happiness and success in whatever you may wish to achieve. And to our wonderful Probus family, another year of continued activity and friendship. I am sure our activities people will have something in their programmes for you to enjoy .. if there is a particular interest or activity you would like included, please come and talk to anyone on the committee about it.

We certainly ended our year in fine style with our Christmas Party. The tables looked a treat thanks to Carole Harris and her ladies. Thanks to Isa for her perseverance, the result was in the wonderful food that was presented. Thanks to Judy Bamford who organised our fabulous entertainers, Bill and Darlene Croft... it is good to be able to sing along with the music. It was great to see so many of our members in attendance and if this was your first Christmas Party with us, I do hope it was an enjoyable experience and you will be back next year.

Before I finish, I would like to remind everyone that nominations for the committee must be submitted at the February 2012 meeting. So thinking hats on ... what would you like to do ??? Please also remember there are many "helper" positions for which no nomination needs to be submitted and do not involve attending committee meetings but are vital to the running of the club.

Please contact me or any member of the committee at any time if you have any questions. Happy New Year!!!!

Yours in Friendship Fellowship and Fun

Beatrice Gallagher President
